OFFICIATING
“Game official”, a person enforcing playing rules, is an integral part of any competitive sports. In ice hockey, the term refers to two groups working collaboratively throughout the game. Referees and linesmen work on the ice during games, hence called the on-ice officials. Working in tandem with them are the off-ice officials, they keep the game record and statistics, manage the penalties, and operate the scoring system.
It takes great skill and determination to be an ice-hockey game official. FHEI holds the formal training for their game-officials in form of seminars and on-ice trainings, each comes in different levels. Whether you are an active or retired player, even non-hockey player, you can also be a part of Indonesia Officiating Team!
